A pharmaceutical preparation is disclosed for the prevention, treatment and relief from the consequences of alcohol abuse, viral hepatitis, steatohepatitis, acute and chronic pancreatitis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, toxic kidney diseases, acute kidney failure, toxic side effects on dosage of chemotherapeutics, diabetes mellitus, Wilson's disease, sideroses and/or ischaemic reperfusion damage, arteriosclerosis and as an antidote against environmental toxins and medicament intoxication.
